Broneirion Training Centre, Llandinam

Broneirion (Cae Gwenllian), Llandinam, Powys. Open except from October to March, this site consists of a flat field near a river, and is within easy reach of good walking country. Indoor accommodation is provided in Broneirion House (60), Brownie House (16) and two flats, which can take 4 people each.
Up to 60 campers can be accommodated outdoors, the site having both a cub field and Patrol sites. Unfortunately Patrols are not allowed to camp unaccompanied by a leader. There are toilets, hot and cold running water and showers and there is an ample supply of wood. (The use of altar fires is required.) There is an on-site warden and service crew facilities can be arranged. There is a payphone and the site is accessible to coaches and vans for loading/unloading purposes.
The local post office and bus stop are only 200 metres away, the nearest train station being two miles away. Amongst the local attractions are sea beaches, lakes, mountains, activity centres, sports centres, and on-site archery, barbecue, orienteering, trails, earthball, house tours and a shop are all available.
